Placing Limit Orders On Penny Stocks?

Whenever I place a limit order on a penny stock, the transaction never goes through. Nothing happens. The price of the stock was 0.0002 and I set a limit bid for 0.0002 and it never goes through. This happens to ever penny stock I try to purchase. It is so frustrating, does this mean I am in like a line to get my shares? Any information or help will be highly appreciated, thanks.

are you sure you have a feature to put in a “limit bid”. Most limit orders like stop loss orders actually become market orders once your stop loss price has been hit. If the market is moving fast, you will get filled at the best possible price after your stop loss has been hit.

However, as stated in the other answer, pink sheet stocks are nearly completely unregulated. And they are trading mostly with “market makers” which don’t accurately list volume – or even bid & offer for that matter.
